Saif: “Agent Vinod is not James Bond”

As an actor Saif Ali Khan is choosing her roles in a responsible and wants to prove critics wrong. As director, he feels Bollywood is "self-sufficient" and does not need to impress foreign audiences. "The Indian population is so massive in the world and in India, we do not need to deal with foreigners. We are autonomous," said Saif. In fact, he rang his mother, actress Sharmila Tagore, who had recently asked clamor of Indian actors in Hollywood.

Saif, who was in the capital to shoot the climax scenes of his second home production "Agent Vinod" Sriram Raghavan who made special efforts in order for the spy thriller a different aspect of the James Bond series. The actress shared her views on "Agent Vinod" and his ambitions, he finished two decades in the movie business in 2012.

Excerpts from the interview:

As Delhi is treating you?

Very nice. It's always fun being here. I'll start shooting "Agent Vinod" climax here.

They have become parts of his debut in the production of "Love Aaj Kal" in the capital. Will we see another side of New Delhi "Agent Vinod"?

Will be completely different from the "Love Aaj Kal". Delhi has lots of character you want to capture. Aurangzeb Road, a bungalow, and "chiks" tied the strings of these colonial homes. It 's also a Old Delhi, and a little' more crowded - very Kashmere Gate area. We capture the Connaught Place and the famous Nirula's. "Love ..." the atmosphere is romantic, fun loving, Gol-gappas and goes underground. But the 'Agent Vinod ", we want to take power from the central government, graphic splendor of beauty, things like the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

We hear there will be heavy action sequences in "Agent Vinod." How demanding it is for you?

For me, it's great to be flexible enough to run a certain way, run and jump and do all this in a particular style. I believe that nature does act in the film is not intended to be very comfortable doing so. In addition, it is supposed to look good on him. It is a challenge - to be stylish while doing action scenes in some way.

Agent Vinod is supposed to be a spy. Should we expect something like a "James Bond"?

Everyone expects an outgoing link scam "Agent Vinod", and that's something we're cautious. First, James Bond is a very good mood and, you know, impeccably dressed and unflappable in situations. Vinod is not so! Vinod Bond is a bit more and Tintin! Does not look like Tintin, Tintin, but it's an adventure - a situation that is in very unique, interesting and larger than life. Vinod is closer to that.

Most Bollywood producers are concentrated to be "globally viable" movies. What do you think?

It 'nice that we are doing different films. Indian population is so massive in the world and in India, we do not need food for foreigners. There are self-sufficient. We are very different, we like the West. We can make the presentation too, but we find the public dry. If we want to make a film about the West, we should do it at great West.

What is the goal of making it through your banner Illuminati Films?

I think the Illuminati, talk to Indians worldwide. While Sriram believes that the foreigner can also enjoy this film, my goal is really for India and Indians abroad.

You will complete two decades in filmdom next year. What to contribute to Bollywood now?

I think the best is yet to come true. I want to do in terms of making different types of films and adding any value that can, in any service that can - if a production company trying to make some good movies, or as an actor trying to participate in stories that entertain and with luck, maybe make you think sometimes.

We are also willing to shoot "Aarakshan" and you are playing the role of the unconventional. How does your movie choice changed over the years?

There is a certain responsibility for the choices, especially when you select a movie like "Aarakshan," I feel I am doing my duty as a responsible actor. I think it's a good thing if we exceed anything that is designed only to entertain. The choices you define an actor, and we must do it carefully. I am aware that I got the Padma Shri contributions to Indian cinema, and I know a lot of people feel it is too soon, if not undeserved. So I want to aim for the next 10 years show that all those people wrong!
